True Devotion

True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin by St. Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort is a spiritual classic which draws readers closer to the Lord by connecting them with the Blessed Mother.

I have read the work several times and have always been fascinated with the beauty with which de Montfort writes of Mary. But this edition by Marian Press surpassed all my expectations.

The book is part of a new series called Marian Fathers' Classics. It includes fascinating insights and commentary by Robert Stackpole, STD. The commentary helps to clarify de Montfort's writing and makes it more accessible to the reader. Dr. Stackpole's explanations are succinct and on point and help to clear up the hyperbole which characterizes de Montfort's text.

I would say that this is the best edition of True Devotion that I have read and I highly recommend it, whether you have read de Montfort before or not. I cannot wait to see what will be next in the Marian Fathers' Classics series!
