Few things scare me more in this life than human trafficking. To think of young people being kidnapped and sold into sex slavery is such a disturbing stain upon humanity. But we cannot fight human trafficking if we ignore it. Cinema can be a powerful weapon against this societal scourge.

Still Hope offers a raw but necessary glimpse into the world of human trafficking. The absorbing film tells the story of Hope, a 16-year-old girl whose texting obsession leads her into an atmosphere of abuse, exploitation, and profound suffering.

The movie is based on the real-life experiences of victims, so it carries the ring of truth. It grabs hold of your heart and does not let go until the final frame. Still Hope is ultimately a story of forgiveness, faith, and redemption. The more people who are exposed to it, the greater the chance that we can eliminate the horror of human trafficking.
