I was thrilled when my copy of the Divine Mercy Catholic Bible arrived in the mail. I had seen it advertised on EWTN's Living Divine Mercy program with Fr. Chris Alar.
I have to say, it quickly became my new favorite Bible.
In addition to the fact that it is just beautifully constructed, it contains a number of Mercy Moments reflections which can be prayer-starters. These reflections include quotations from notable figures ranging from St. Faustina to Pope St. John Paul II.
I find myself hungering more for the Word of God after using this incredible Bible. Its emphasis on mercy really resonates with me at this stage in my life.
It is a keepsake that I will not only treasure, but pass on to my daughter and her descendants.
